Tiki-Eazac puppies already 10 years old ❤ , 6 out of 7 are still with us (Upi sadly hit by a car when young). An outstanding litter out of two really outstanding dogs, who's genes hopefully will go on for a long time. Could not be prouder - full litter of really strong, fast, wide-rangeing, high-drive hunting dogs! Thankful to all the owners and humble and thankful to breeders, who have chosen to believe in these dogs. Many more good, healthy years for all ❤ ! Gamepoint Better Than Love "Irma's" first show, judge Tamas Jakkel (current president of FCI) - "Lovely type, nice head, excellent balance & substance. Good neck, shoulders & forechest. Correct topline. Excellent temperament, makes her look very functional. Very elastic movement.". All of his praise did not even make it into the description, and someone from the ring personnel later came to tell me again, how the judge really-really liked her! Placing over a show-bred junior bitch, Irma went Excellent 1/2 junior class, BOBJ, jun CAC, BOB and BIG4.

Gamepoint Better Than Love "Irma" junior class “Excellent” 2/3 at Baltic Winner'21 show (9 shorthair weims entered), placing in between two show bred junior bitches. Being the only hunting bred weim, Irma did really well.
Judge György Tesics (HU) - “proportional, feminine, should have a little more bone substance, good topline, well set & carried tail, a little straight in upperarm, excellent rearangulations, free & fluent in movement, good presentation, friendly character”.

Some Gamepoint puppies have had great success: our green boy that went to USA, Gamepoint Hoppipolla “Loki” scored full 112 points with a I prize at his NA (Natural Ability) test, the judges were really impressed by him!

Gamepoint Gayatri “Nala” passed her TAN (a basic hunting ability test for young dogs) in Belgium, the judge Jocelyne Haegeman had said: “I would never buy a weimaraner, seen a lot of them, not a fan, but seeing your dog …”, apparently really liked the way Nala ran, turned, her looks!

Gamepoint Sweet Lies “Siri” finished her first youth class water test with 3 points out of 5 (dropped the bird on delivery) in Finland, Siri is also the first one to be health scored - hips A/A, elbows 0/0, back clear (VA0 (normal), LTV0 (normal).

Gamepoint Pistols At Dawn “Sulo” got a “Good” at his first dog show in junior class, and finished his first water test in youth class with 4 points out of 5 (dropped the bird in delivery) in Finland.

4 Gamepoint juniors were entered to Junkkari - finnish biggest event for hunting dogs, a four-day event for young continental pointers, where you can do a water test, exteriour evaluation and field trial on three days (and the finals for the best dogs from field on fourth, where a winner is chosen), with over 300 dogs entering.

In the end 3 of Gamepoint pups could be there - Gamepoint Better Than Love “Irma”, Gamepoint Sweet Lies “Siri” and Gamepoint Pistols At Dawn “Sulo”. None got a prize from the field - all had some misfortune and also still a bit “raw” - Siri found birds multiple times but was bit too happy in handling them, Sulo had no luck finding any birds (as some other dogs in our group - really few birds), Irma had a “pretty” run, as the judge said, but as it was her very first time on pheasants, she went a bit too close on the scent down a ditch, got a short point on few cocks but those left before I could announce the point.

Sulo and Irma also did the water test - Sulo aced it (dropped the bird on sitting delivery) with 4 points out of 5, Irma zeroed - her jumping entry had gone to a too slow one just before Junkkari for some reason. In exteriour judgement (15 sh and 1 lh weims entered) Siri got a “Very Good”, measured to 58 cm, Sulo got “Good” (due to short neck), measured to 64 cm, and Irma surprised me with “Excellent +” (only her and one male got a “+”, basically BOB/BOO, which officially are not selected by the newer rules anymore, though), measured to 61 cm. All in all very proud of all three!

Gamepoint Gayatri "Nala" “Excellent” at a Belgian Weimaraner Club Championship show, among 7 junior bitches (49 sh weimaraners entered). Judges description: “Nice head, slightly finer bitch, lacks forechest, good angulations front and rear, good tail carriage, smooth movement.” Also Nala’s field training is "progressing very, very well" according to her professional field trainer's words 👍.

Gamepoint Better Than Love "Irma" was entered to Tallinn & Estonian Winner 2021 shows, with “Very Good” from Tallinn Winner and “Excellent” 2/3 junior class, JunCAC and finishing her Estonian Junior Champion title. At Tallinn Winner show judge Tatjana Urek thought Irma’s topline is “not optimal”, wished for more forechest, the next day judge Jelena Kruus thought: “Pretty young female, developed according to age, correct body proportions, typical head with good expression, good neck, correct topline, enough angulation front and back, moves well, excellent temperament.” Irma’s behaviour in the ring has been a joy - she is such a social dog and wants to kiss everyone, and she’s also now placed over 3 different show-bred junior bitches - not an easy task for a hunting bred weimaraner these days!

Gamepoint Seeet Lies "Siri" and Gamepoint Pistols At Dawn "Sulo" after a training day, doing a great job and getting first birds shot from birdwork!

Taking Tsumi to two weekends of field trials in Sweden did not give the exact hoped results this year, first time she was going for a first prize the whole day, only to drop it to a third at the end of the day, with a slow flush at ther second birdwork (catching too many birds has made her wanna flush when she feels she can catch it), on the second weekend she got a II prize (with 6 on field, full points on retrieve) on first day, and on second day followed a flushing pheasant a long way behind a patch of forest, where I did not even see the situation nor could stop her, resulting in a zero. Next try next year! As usual, right before the first trials, Tsumi needed an eftersök-test passed on Friday, to be allowed to start on field the next day - 10 points/track and 10 points/water, even though November is not ideal for a water test. HUGE thank-you to friends and judges helping out!
